      1. Definitely living and traveling somewhere are quite different. As is the case for me to “travel” to paris every year, instead of living there a long time ago. More freedom I guess.

      2. It is… If I may be so bold as to say that: Berlin, to me is a city with too much history. And the Tiergarten was the only place where I felt peace. 🙂 There even are rabbits roaming around everywhere!
have a lovely week-end my friend.

      3. Thank you for the history tip. It’s interesting that it was created by the Elector. I thought the park was Friedrich II’s doing. But then, as a foreigner, one assumes Friedrich II did everything! 😉

      4. Unfortunately my German is scant. Not enough proper lessons (I did go to the Goethe Institüt for a year). I can pick up words here and there. I really need to spend six months in Germany to brush up. I like the language.
        Eine gute Woche. 😉

  1. Great shot – a different approach to St. Tropez. I first – and last – was there over 60 years ago. Midsummer too! It was just beginning to be a tourist “trap”. Blame Brigitte Bardot in those far-off days. I think I would prefer to remember it as it was – am I wrong? Des.

    1. I was last there over 40 years ago. At that time, it was already beautiful there. Today you will find the rich and beautiful at the port. Further back in the village is still the normal life – but certainly not as it was 60 years ago. Look here. (To be continued.)
